Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how BEST — Best Solution for Agri-Trade processes the personal data made available to it in the context of its professional and institutional relationships, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation EU 2016/679 — GDPR).
1. Data controller
BEST — Best Solution for Agri-Trade, with presence in Brussels and Lisbon. For any question regarding personal data, the available contact is contato@bestagritrade.com.
2. Data collected
BEST collects exclusively the contact data voluntarily sent by email by the data subjects themselves — typically name, institution, position and email address. The institutional website does not use forms, does not collect browsing data for advertising purposes and does not process sensitive data.
3. Purpose of processing
Data are processed exclusively to: (i) respond to communications initiated by the data subject; (ii) conduct pre-contractual steps; (iii) maintain legitimate institutional dialogue within the scope of BEST's professional activity.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on BEST's legitimate interest in conducting its professional activity (art. 6(1)(f), GDPR) and on the need for pre-contractual steps at the data subject's request (art. 6(1)(b), GDPR).
5. Retention
Data are retained only for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose that justified their collection and, where applicable, for legal retention periods. Once the purpose is fulfilled, data are deleted or anonymised.
6. Sharing
BEST does not share, sell or transfer to third parties the personal data of its interlocutors. Institutional communication is conducted internally by the senior team.
7. Cookies
The BEST website does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or behavioural analytics tools. There are no non-essential cookie categories to consent to.
8. Data subject rights
The data subject may, at any time, exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of their data, as well as withdraw consent where applicable. Requests should be addressed to contato@bestagritrade.com. The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
